Q: Have the scripts in the catalog been performed?
A: Yes. All scripts in our catalog have received numerous productions on the professional, educational, or community theatre level.
Q: Why is everything digital?
A: We want to make things as easy as possible for you, the theatre maker! When you license a show, you pay one fee that enables you to copy the acting edition for all of your actors, crew, and staff. You don't have to return anything. It's just easier!
Q: Can we video our performance and put it online?
A: Absolutely. Your agreement gives you permission to upload your recorded performance to YouTube or other streaming channel for archival purposes. However, you cannot monetize the video or receive any additional compensation from the video.
Q: What if we want to video the performance to live-stream for our audiences that are not local?
A: This would be a special circumstance. Please put your request in writing and send it to us.
Q: Who is CueRights?
A: CueRights is owned by Darren J. Butler, LLC and Salty Dog Entertainment.
Q: What is the nature of the touring productions and the agreements?
Touring productions utilize professional actors and Non-Equity agreements. In the event that an Actors Equity Actor is used in a touring production, there will be a separate contract rider to include specific requirements required by the union.
